SOLUDO APPLAUDS PRESIDENT BUHARI FOR ENSURING A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION IN ANAMBRA STATE

Anambra State Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for his fatherly disposition and neutrality in the just concluded Anambra governorship election.

Cee Cee Soludo said the President’s insistence on a free and fair election in Anambra State was not only commendable but has further inspired confidence in our democratic processes that election can indeed be conducted freely and fairly irrespective of your political leaning.

He praised President Muhammadu Buhari’s fatherly role especially for providing a level playing ground for all the contestants in the build up to the election.

He added that the President’s insistence that the election must hold despite the initial fears of insecurity and his directive to the security chiefs to maintain neutrality and ensured law and order prevailed before, during and after the election was equally commendable.

Soludo therefore expressed profound gratitude to Mr President, Ndi Anambra and Nigerians for the success of the election.
