It was gathered that the plenary sessions at the House of Representatives and House of Senate has been shifted to 21st March, 2023.
According to the information, this decision of the adjournment of the red and green chambers was to enable lawmakers to partake in the governorship and House of Assembly election now shifted to Saturday 18th March, 2023 as some of the lawmakers will be contesting election to mention but few; the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (APC -Delta), Senator Sandy Onor (PDP – Cross-Rivers), Senator Haliru Jika (NNPP – Bauchi) and others.
In a statement, the clerk of the Senate, Chinedu Francis Akabueze reads, “This is to inform all Distinguished Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that Senate in Plenary has been rescheduled from 13th March, 2023 to 18th March, 2023”.
