Veteran actor Segun Arinze has urged youths to get actively involved in politics.
With the electioneering year just around the corner, the thespian in a chat with HipTv explained the youths are capable of steering the affairs of the country but that can only happen if they immerse themselves in politics.
Highlighting the qualities of the youths, Arinze said: “I believe the Nigerian youths are very hard-working, talented, beautiful, very focused.
“Yeah, never mind as once in a while find a few despicable once. But that doesn’t put to blanket all of them.”
He added: “I believe the Nigerian youths. I believe they can do better and greater things.
“And for me, it’s time for them to also get active in politics. It’s time to take over. Let’s change the baton for a while.”
