President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, are reportedly engaged in a private discussion at the state house in Abuja.
According to information obtained by News Verified on Thursday evening, the former Emir of Kano arrived at the Presidential Villa a few minutes before 05:00 pm and proceeded to the state house for a meeting with the Nigerian leader.
The meeting takes place shortly after the President’s suspension of the immediate past Governor of Nigeria’s apex bank, Godwin Emefiele, just a week ago.
While the specific agenda of their meeting remains undisclosed, it marks the first encounter between the two influential figures since Tinubu assumed the presidency on May 29.
