Manchester United have exercised the break clause in Sergio Reguilon’s loan – and the player will return to Tottenham.
Reguilon joined United on Deadline Day in the summer – primarily to cover for injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Shaw has since returned and Malacia is due back this month.
United’s exit from Europe and the EFL Cup is another factor in the decision as Reguilon’s game time will be further limited.
