See Why Labour Party Appoints Hilda Dokubo As Caretaker Chairman Rivers Chapter

The Labour Party National Chairman, Comrade Julius Abure has appointed the Veteran Nollywood Actress, Hilda Dokubo and her team as the Caretaker Chairman for the LP party in River state.

His decision to appoint Dokubo-led panel followed the expiration of the 3 months old tenure of the River state Labour Party Caretaker committee led by Deinye Pepple.

This appointment officially was contained in a letter dated 9th March, 2023 which was addressed to the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) signed by Abure followed after they recent dissolve of the former party excos by Abure after they endorse PDP governorship candidate in the state.
