The Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has vow to take Lagos to the next level of industralization for progressive state economy and nation in general.
In line with his vision for 2023, he recognises the captains of industry and the organizations comprising Corporate Lagos as the heartbeat of our thriving Lagos economy and a critical part of the city’s progress.
He also affirmed that the President has set a powerful goal—a $1 trillion economy by 2030. For this, Lagos must lead the conversation. As the economic nerve centre of our country, businesses driving this vision need alignment with ours and the President’s.
In his remarks he said, “In the collaboration between business and government lies the key to unlocking Lagos’ potential. Engaging with Lagos businesses at the 2023 Lagos Corporate Assembly was incredibly enlightening.
“Promising a conducive environment for businesses to thrive in Lagos isn’t just a commitment; it’s our mission. Our aim is clear: support, collaborate, and align with businesses for a thriving Lagos economy. Infrastructure challenges won’t hinder but propel our progress.
“In the first quarter of 2024, we will hold another engagement, inviting officials from the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment and other federal agencies.
“The wheels of progress are turning. Shared solutions, commitments, and a collaborative spirit within the Corporate Assembly are the bedrock of Lagos’ journey towards a sustainable economy.
“Let’s keep moving forward together.”
