Ahead of the forthcoming election, The INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has recently released the list of states that will participate in the coming election on 18th March, 2023 with the reason for its exemption of some states.
This he disclosed at the inter-agency consultative meeting on election meeting held today Tuesday 14th March, 2023 at the INEC conference room.
Prof. Mahmood revealed that the election will not hold in 8 states namely; Anambra, Bayelsa, Edo, Ekiti, Imo, Kogi, Ondo, Osun as the guber election in the affected states are held off-cycle and not during the general election.
