Ahead of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) National Convention in Abuja, Delta state 2023 governorship candidate of the party, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi hosted his state delegates to a warm reception in dinner night in his Asokoro, Abuja, residence.
Delta SDP Chairman, Ambassador Oke Idawene, Leader of the state’s delegates to the convention described the warm welcome by the 2023 governorship hopeful as a new positive experience being brought in by Gbagi in party affairs.
Idawene encouraged all not to be intimidated by the big parties, but to, instead, always preach the SDP good news to Deltans in their various local government areas ahead of 2023 general elections.
Gbagi used the opportunity to reassert that SDP means serious business in the mission to take over leadership as a party, including the governorship in Delta without fear or favour.
“The SDP I have joined will not be intimidated or confused by oppositions. We mean business and we are ready to take over Delta”, the accomplished industrialist boasted.
Delta SDP, Idawene congratulated Gbagi once again, for his emergence as the Delta guber ticket holder while also thanking all party members for expressing confidence in Gbagi’s overwhelming capacity to take over Government House, Asaba, from incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2023.
