Imagine living with diabetes—alone, vulnerable, and without access to essential care.

Every day, thousands of Nigerians suffer from diabetes-related complications, including amputations, blindness, and life-threatening crises.

Unlike HIV patients, who receive government support, diabetic patients are often left to fend for themselves.

Many are losing their lives simply because they cannot afford basic medical care.

At Support for Human Development Foundation (SHUDEF), we are changing this narrative. Led by Emmanuel Ogbogo, a diabetes survivor who lost some toes to the disease, SHUDEF provides home-based care for diabetic patients—especially those physically challenged and abandoned.

What We Do

✅ Provide essential diabetes control drugs

✅ Distribute non-sugary food (swallow) for diabetic patients

✅ Supply home-care essentials—soaps, disinfectants, toothpaste, and more

✅ Offer free blood sugar screening in communities

✅ Assist diabetic patients during medical emergencies

✅ Advocate for better healthcare access for diabetes patients

Why We Need Your Help

Diabetes is a silent crisis in Nigeria, and no one is paying attention. Unlike other illnesses, diabetic patients have no free drugs, no free treatment, and no structured support system. Without urgent intervention, more lives will be lost.

We need 5 million naira to continue this lifesaving work.

Your donation will help us reach more patients, provide free screenings, and ensure those suffering get the care they deserve.
