The roads are Aradagun-Mosafejo-Ilado-Imeke Road, Samuel Ekundayo Road, and Hospital Road, cutting across Badagry Local Government and Olorunda Local Council Development Areas.

Within the last few months, Mr. Governor has handed over 39 roads, five bridges to Lagosians.

Governor Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, have provided road infrastructure as a catalyst for commerce and easy transportation to residents across local governments and local council development areas in Lagos.

The Aradagun-Mosafejo-Ilado- Imeke Road project will complement the earlier virtually commissioned 6.65km, double lane single carriageway with a 300m bridge, nine metres wide connecting Imeke, Ajido, Iworo/Whispering Palms to Epeme Road as well as the bridges from Imeke to Ajido/Iworo/Epeme communities. The project will also serve as an alternate route to link the Lagos–Badagry Expressway.

Another strategic arterial road, Samuel Ekundayo/Toga Road was also constructed to link Joseph Dosu Road from Samuel Ekundayo Road/Toga Road Intersection for connection to the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

The roads delivered by the Sanwo-Olu administration serve as an alternative route to a section of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway from Badagry Roundabout to Limca/Ibereko. Hospital Road (Phase 1), Idale, Akarakunmoh, Povita, Topo, and Ajido communities.

Other roads that adjoin the project are Joseph Dosu and the Agbalata Market Junction to Lagos State University (LASU) Foundation.

The Badagry Hospital Road is a critical part of the road network because it hosts several tourist centres such as the Agiya Tree Monument, First Storey Building, the foremost Missionary Cemetery in Nigeria, Heritage Museum, Eko Theatre, Badagry VIP Chalets, Badagry General Hospital, and other public facilities.

The present administration remains committed to implementing programmes that will fast-track development, bring relief and enhance prosperity among the people.

Ultimately, Lagos State will achieve a smooth, easy and sustainable multi-modal transportation system across the metropolis.
