The solar panels and their accessories were fitted to ensure uninterrupted power supply round the clock to enhance efficiency in service delivery. The various commands were also provided with additional scooters for mobility and more protective gear to boost their morale.

Speaking at the commissioning of the equipment, the General Manager of LNSA, Prince (Dr,) Ifalade Oyekan said the purpose of these solar systems is to enhance the work output of operatives and reduce their delivery time which often used to be longer due to power outages.

Oyekan admonished the officers to take ownership and handle the solar equipment like all government properties under their purview with care and use them like their personal properties.

Prince Ifalade Oyekan thanked Mr. Governor for his visionary leadership and constant provision of conducive working environments for the Agency and its various structures.

“This equipment, like your salaries, is provided with the taxpayers’ money and requires your utmost devotion at all times. Your service delivery must show your appreciation for Mr. Governor’s unwavering dedication to the safety and security of Lagos residents”, Ifalade advised.

Engr. Adebola Anofi, Lead Consultant of the Company that supplied the technology trained the Corps officers on the proper handling of the solar panels and accessories to ensure they last long and serve at optimal levels.
