Delta state has again lost another historic and political legend, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, who passed away at the age of 97.
Chief E.K. Clark was one of the likes of Late Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Late Asagba of Asaba, others, men of Timber and calibre who are detrabalised in nature, whose truthfulness even in the face trials and troubles are unquantifiable. Men that are known for their strong acumen in maintaining peace, law and order in Delta State. It is quite unfortunate that Delta as a state is gradually having these strong men with integrity fizzling out.

This sad exit of Chief E.K. Clark was announced in a statement signed by Prof. C. C. Clark for the family and Mr. Penawei Clark for the children.
According to the statement, the ljaw national leader, Clark, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025.
It read, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday, 17th February 2025.
“The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”
May his soul Rest in Peace!
