Rivers State Govt Confirms Police Stationed at RSIEC is to Ensure Better Security, Nothing More
The police stationed at the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) office along Aba Road are there to ensure that enemies of Rivers State do not attack the RSIEC office.
Disregard the rumors circulating online that an individual from Abuja sent the police to barricade the RSIEC office inorder to enforce any order.
RSIEC, as an agency, is prepared, and Local Government Elections will hold on Saturday, 5 October 2024.
