The recent election in Rivers state has recorded another sad incident at one of the polling units on Saturday 18th March, 2023.
It was gathered that, the unfortunate incident befall the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Coordinator for Ahoada-West Local Council of Rivers State, Mr. Chisom Lennard, who is also the Ward 10 Leader of APC in the area, was shot dead while trying to prevent suspected hoodlums, dressed in Police camouflage, from hijacking election materials earlier yesterday.
“He hails from Ubeta community in Ahoada West LGA of Rivers State.
