The election polls will today decide who takes the crown back whether Wike (PDP) or Tonye Cole (APC) or Magnus Abe ( SDP) as it has been a thug of war for the three main contenders of the governorship position which Wike remains the master of the game awaits whose muscle will be strong enough to wrestle power off his hands.
Today 18th March, 2023 becomes a remarkable day in the history of Nigeria and River state in particular as one our of the three must emerge as the next governor of Rivers notwithstanding the hinges to do so.
However, Wike as the incumbent presenting Fubara under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has a stronger ground but All Progressives Congress (APC) with Tonye Cole is not still a force to drift away and Magnus Abe of Social Democratic Party (SDP) will have to struggle harder to be able to beat this too parties as Wike will throw more muscle to ensure Fubara emerges and PDP remains in power afterall he has been an incumbent with visible performance, a working governor cherished by the people of River state.
Interestingly, it will be easy to predict that the incumbent will maintain the position of governorship with Fubara because of his good deed as the people are wiser and are particular about voting competent candidates than party presently but we wish them all luck as the game begins in no time.
