… clears N175 Million Debt Owed to Contractors

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Brain Gokpa, has commissioned the Eleme Ultramodern Motor Park and Agbonchia Townhall for public use.

Chief Brain Gokpa revealed that the project, initiated by the previous administration three years ago, had been abandoned due to an outstanding debt of 175 million Naira owed to the contractor.

He emphasized the project’s importance to motorists and residents announcing that his administration has cleared the debt, allowing the park to be opened.

Gokpa assured the people of Eleme that his administration is committed to commissioning more projects for the benefit of the people.
