Rev. Otu Supports Father of Triplets Following Mother’s Tragic Death.

The father of a set of triplets, Mr Elliot Ogboh, paid a visit to the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, to seek her assistance and support for his young family. Tragically, the infant’s mother passed on due to complications shortly after giving birth, leaving Mr. Ogboh as the sole caregiver for his newborn children, a situation that has left a bitter sweet and mixed feelings.

Speaking, the Governor’s wife, Rev. Otu, who was disheartened at the news of the death of Mrs Ogboh, said, “Please, take good care of these children, they have a bright future. You never can tell what they will become tomorrow and God has a reason for everything.”

Rev. Otu, who further asked for the investigation of the story to determine it’s authenticity, supported the family with a token, promising to do more after deliberating with her team.

Accompanied by his uncle, Mr. David Ukam, his wife’s mother and sister who have been offering their unwavering supports during this challenging time, Mr. Ogboh expressed his profound grief and shared the circumstances that brought them to the Governor’s wife. According to him, his wife’s untimely demise had left him devastated and overwhelmed by the responsibility of raising their three precious children on his own.

Speaking, Mr Ogboh’s uncle, Mr Ukam, further emphasized the urgent need for assistance, highlighting the financial and emotional strain the situation has thrown them into. Recognizing the Governor’s Wife’s commitment to philanthropy, Mr. Ukam expressed optimism that her compassion and support would help alleviate some of the burdens facing their family at this time.

 

The visit of the Ogboh’s family is a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by many families and highlights the significance of community involvement in providing assistance and solace.
