PROF. CHINEDUM IGWE, IAAAS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ATTEND MODOU LAMIN AGE-ALMUSAF SOWE’S BOOK LAUNCH IN THE GAMBIA, EXPECTED TO MEET PRESIDENT ADAMA BARROW.

Prof. Chinedum Igwe, the United States based international scholar and Executive Director of International Association of African Authors and Scholars (IAAAS), is billed to attend the book launch of Gambian award-winning author, Modou Lamin Age-Almusaf Sowe scheduled to hold in Banjul, January 7, 2022.

The book *”Don’t Judge The Book By The Cover”* was published in 2006 and printed in The Gambia.

Prof. Chinedum Igwe who is specially invited for the launch is expected to deliver an address as Guest Speaker at the event.

Prof. Igwe and Dr. Charles Uti, IAAAS General Secretary who is also on this trip are scheduled to meet with the President of The Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency, Adama Barrow at the Government House in Banjul. After holding talks with President Barrow, Prof Igwe will also meet with the Gambian Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Bakary Y. Badjie, as well as other key government functionaries.

The event will feature notable guests from abroad, government officials, members of the press and media, high- profile international authors and scholars among other dignitaries are all expected to grace the occasion.
