President Tinubu to Announce New National Minimum Wage in Collabo with Organised Labour…details

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced that in collaboration with Organised Labour, they have negotiated a new national minimum wage and an Executive Bill will soon be presented to the National Assembly to formalise this agreement for the next five years or less.

The President noted that, unlike a dictatorial response, the administration chose cooperation over conflict, inviting labour leaders to discuss and negotiate in good faith, ensuring no arrests or threats were made.
