President Bola Tinubu is set to depart from Abuja to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this Sunday, where he will participate in the upcoming 19th G20 Leaders’ Summit hosted in the South American nation.
According to information, the involvement of the president Tinubu is at the request of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the Brazilian President and current head of the group.
The summit scheduled for Monday, November 18, to Tuesday, November 19, will convene leaders from the world’s 20 largest economies. This includes representatives from the European Union, the African Union, and various multilateral financial institutions, among others.
