President Bola Tinubu has received yhe audience of His Royal Majesty Omon’Oba N’Edo Uku’Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, Oba of Benin.
This reception took place today Friday 14th July, 2023 at the State House, Abuja.
Though the main reason for the vosit is yet to be disclosed but even at that, the Oba of Benin also formally congratulated the President on his emergence as the Nigerian president and ECOWAS Chairman as well but also discuss issues at stake in the country.
Recalling in May, the Federal Government appointed the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, as the Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria.
Present with His Royal Majesty, Ewuare II, The Oba of Benin were his delegation which includes; the Egiagbai of Ekperi, the Imah of Somorika, the Onojie of Ewato & the Ojuromi of Uromi as well as top Benin Chiefs at the State House
