The Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi has today joined Henry Ndukuba, and the entire Anglican Communion in Nigeria, to pay last respect to the the Archbishop Emeritus and Dean, Church of Nigeria,
In his statement he said, “Today, I joined the Primate of the Anglican Church, His Grace Henry Ndukuba, and the entire Anglican Communion in Nigeria, to pay my last respects to the Archbishop Emeritus and Dean, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, His Grace Archbishop Maxwell Anikwenwa, in Awka.
“In the new Nigeria we are working towards, this is a model of the mutual support that should exist between religious leaders and the leaders of the state.
“May God grant him eternal rest and grant all who mourn him, especially the Christian Community.”
