The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has attended today been Thursday 22nd June, 2023 the occasion of the 26th Convocation and 40th Anniversary of Lagos State University.

Governor Sanwo-Olu congratulated the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, and the entire university community on their commitment to excellence and the academic achievements of students are truly commendable.

He went further to applaud the institution’s accomplishments, including being designated as an ‘Africa Center of Excellence for STEM Education’ by the World Bank. LASU continues to make us proud.

In his statement he said, “Congratulations to Aminat Yusuf Imoitsemeh for graduating with a perfect CGPA of 5.0 in Law. I’m pleased to announce a personal donation of N5m and an additional N5m from the State Government to recognize her outstanding achievement. Well done Aminat!

“I extend my congratulations to all the graduating students. You have worked hard to achieve academic excellence, and I urge you to continue making positive contributions to our nation’s development.
