The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has earlier today received the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Major General T. A. Lagbaja in Ibadan, Oyo state.

In his statement he expressed, “we received the Chief of Army Staff, Major General T. A. Lagbaja, on a courtesy visit.

“Major General Lagbaja is in Ibadan to attend the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2023.

“We are pleased to be hosting the Nigerian Army in Ibadan as they celebrate 160 years of existence.

“In my remarks during the visit, I thanked the Nigerian Army for their contributions to security in Oyo State and Nigeria.

“I again reaffirmed our administration’s commitment to continuously collaborate with the army and provide the necessary support to them.”
