The Nigerian Navy has recently arrested a 77-meter-long Motor Tanker it arrested on Thursday Dec 7, 2023. 17 persons aboard (all Nigerians).
Ship was found double-plugged into a well-head at an oilfield in Ilaje LGA of Ondo State, 7 nautical miles off the Nigerian coast.
Vessel capacity is 15,000MT i.e. approx 15 MILLION liters. At the time of arrest, it had, according to the NN, already loaded equivalent of 500MT.
