The occassion was chaired by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, who had the distinguished honor of serving as the Chairman of the 2023 Annual Lecture Implementation Supervisory Committee organized by the CIBN themed: Unlocking the Constraints to Africa’s Transformation: Insights into the power of capital.

In her vote of thanks, she spoke extensively on the institution’s continued efforts to widen the ideation process for policy formulation and the development of transformational solutions to common challenges in Nigeria and across Africa in general.

It was gathered that the keynote speaker of the lecture was Prof. Benedict Oramah (President and Chairman of the African Export-Import Bank) while the event have present other key leaders in the Nigerian banking industry, including thd Executive Director, South-West, Fidelity Bank, Ken Opara.

At the end, the event was described as a success having strong speakers that enlightened the attendees on the said aim of the 2023 Annual lecture.
