PHOTO News: Gov. Makinde Welcomes His Eminence Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, His Majesty Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Emir of Kano.

The Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has welcomed His Eminence Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto and His Majesty Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano in Ibadan this evening to commission the Adogba Central Mosque.

It was gathered that, the construction of the mosque was completed earlier this year and is a fulfilment of a personal promise he made to worshippers when the mosque, then based at Iwo Road, was to be demolished to make way for the Iwo Road Interchange.

In his remarks at the commissioning he said, ” I talked about the importance of living harmoniously despite our differences in Oyo State and Nigeria at large. And I promised that our administration will continue to ensure that we deliver inclusive governance to residents of our dear State.”
