The Foremost Governorship Aspirant, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi takes a drastic decision in his sojourn to 2023 Governorship race to consult his father, the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof) Chike Edozie who is among the “who is who” in decision making in Asaba, to seek more wisdom and blessings as the coast gets clearer and one cannot know it all, also the popular African adage and culture made it clear that, when a man needs more superior knowledge and wisdom, he should consult his father or elders of his town and Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has just taken the bold step to fulfil his destiny of taking over the mantle of Governorship, come 2023 from Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa as expected.
In line with the above proverb and culture as it affects the coming 2023 Governorship race which keep raising dusts across the three senatorial districts and the many Governorship aspirants, expectations are very high that as the zoning is expected to come back after 16 years to Delta Central, one candidate with blemishless character and capacity, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi should emerge as Governor of Delta state though opinions of others keep popping “who is who” in the state and this question of “who the cap fits” led to this great journey back to his fathers, Obi (Prof) Chike Edozie, the Asagba of Asaba whose wisdom from the beginning made great meaning till date and prompted the Governorship hopeful to take this second consultation back to ensure more wisdom in certain decisions that is necessary for enthroning the right Governorship candidate, who has the competence, capacity, integrity and passion for the growth and development of Delta state.

K Clark, traditional fathers, Late Pa Okowa who is the father of the sitting Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who in his prayer of blessings and support categorically stated before his demise that, Kenneth Gbagi as his adopted son should take over power from his first son, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and in that same manner, the Royal kings, of course his father, Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof) Chike Edozie also gave his blessing and support of go ahead for the Governorship race.
