The PDP has requested that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State step down from his position.
At the initial gathering of the party leaders following the defection, the NWC, led by Umar Damagum, announced that the party has directed its National Legal Adviser to take appropriate legal.
After the meeting, Damagum spoke to journalists, explaining that this action was one of the decisions resulting from the NWC meeting.
The national leadership of the PDP has instructed the South-South Zonal caretaker executive, led by Emma Ogidi, to oversee the party’s activities in Delta State until a new caretaker committee is established.
