OYO State:Gov. Makinde Signs 2024 Appropriation Bill Passed By House of Assembly into Law….see details

The executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has on 23rd December, 2023 signed the 2024 Oyo State Appropriation Bill passed by the Oyo State House of Assembly into law.

The total amount of the budget was reviewed upwards by the House of Assembly to N438,447,878,548.39. This is N4,226,111,609.60 more than our proposed budget.

In his remarks he said, “I thanked members of the House of Assembly for the timely passage of the budget and informed all present that the budget performance for the 2023 budget is 75%, which is more than double the budget performance we met when we assumed office.

“I stated that our budget performance target for the 2024 budget is over 80%.”
