Oyo state government has further showcase update and pictures of the re-awarded construction of the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road, Ibadan. The road consists of four sections; the South-East (32.2 km); North-East (20.8 km); North-West (33 km) and South-West (24 km) wings which will provide a by-pass for travellers, goods and freight commuting through Ibadan along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The 32.2 km South-East Wing (East End Wing) of the Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road construction project is being executed by Craneburg Construction Ltd and comprises the construction of 6 bridges including 2 interchanges.
The 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road which is designed to encircle the entirety of Ibadan will strategically link the Ibadan-Ife Expressway, the Moniya Train Station, Ibadan Inland Dry Port, the proposed Oluyole Free Trade Zone and different parts of the Ibadan Metropolis. The Circular Road will also ease the flow of traffic in strategic locations in the metropolis as well as drive more development in Oyo State.
