Currently, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has won all the chairmanship and councillorship seats in all the 30 local government areas of Osun State.
This result was by the Chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC), Hashim Abioye, on Saturday during the press briefing result in Osogbo.
However, the Osun state Governor, Ademola Adeleke shortly after voting sends a commendation message confirming that the electoral process was very peaceful and orderly while thanking the good people of Osun for abiding to the rules of peace at polling units across the state.
