Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen and compatriot, Michael Folorunsho have rejoined the Napoli squad for 2022/23 pre-season duties on Friday.
The Napoli players arrived at the Hotel Rosatti in Dimaro, Italy.
Osimhen arrives looking to build on an impressive 2021/22 season that saw him register 18 goals and six assists in all competitions for Partonopei last season.
The 23-year-old has been linked with an exit from Napoli with interests from Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern, and Newcastle.
Newcastle have the funds to make the signing but it is believed that Osimhen would want to make the move to a club that would offer Champions League football.
Folorunsho, however, has returned to Napoli after playing on loan at Pordenone and Reggiana last season and enjoyed a good loan spell.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Napoli in 2019 but is yet to make a single appearance for the club in three years.
The team will undergo their first training session of the preseason on Saturday (today) morning.
