Attention: DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT,
According to our sources, a native of Ukwu Nzu Community in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State. We write this open letter to draw the urgent attention of the Delta State Government to the worsening condition of the road linking Ukwu Nzu Community and Obomkpa Community.
This road has suffered severe damage, which has brought about serious hardship for residents of both communities. The situation has generated a lot of controversy involving Mosral Energy, the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), and both communities, as all parties have continued to debate the root cause of the damage instead of providing a lasting solution.
During this period, the Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Hon. Emma Chinye, visited the affected site. Unfortunately, after that visit, the road was abandoned, leaving the two communities to continue suffering the consequences of the damage. Daily movement has become extremely difficult, economic activities are affected, and the safety of residents is increasingly at risk.
It is important to note that Mosral Energy is a company operating in partnership with the Delta State Government, and as such, the people of Aniocha North Local Government Area expect accountability and responsibility in addressing the environmental and infrastructural impact of its operations.
We are therefore using this medium to appeal passionately to the Delta State Government to urgently intervene and come to the aid of these communities. The level of destruction on this road is getting out of hand, and CONTINUED NEGLECT will only worsen the HARDSHIP FACED by OUR PEOPLE.
We humbly request prompt assessment, rehabilitation, and a permanent solution to this problem, in the interest of peace, development, and the well-being of the affected communities.

Thank you for your time and anticipated intervention.
Yours faithfully,
Ukwu Nzu and Obomkpa Communities, Aniocha North LGA, Delta State.
