This distribution aims to provide timely assistance to residents directly impacted by the recent flood.

Chief Okenya emphasized that the relief items, provided by ONELGA Council Chairman Prince Isaac Umejuru, were intended specifically for those who have suffered the effects of the flooding.

“These items are strictly for flood-affected families, and we’re expecting additional support from federal agencies and other groups to bolster our efforts,” he noted.

Local leaders and stakeholders in each zone received the supplies on behalf of their communities, expressing appreciation for Chairman Umejuru’s prompt response and dedication to assisting those in need.

The ONELGA Council’s support represents an immediate step in helping the most vulnerable residents as the community continues to await further assistance from state and federal levels.
