Oba Of Ogbaland Bags Leadership Award Of Excellence From Rotary Club Portharcourt.

The Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Rebisi Kingdom has recognized the Oba of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Barr. Nwachukwu Nnam Obuoha Obi III, with an award of Excellence in Leadership.

The President of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Rebisi Kingdom, Rotarian Chris Ugechi during the award presentation at Palace of the King in Ogbaland, also decorated the Oba of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Barr. Nwachukwu Nnam Obuoha Obi III, as Honorary Rotarian.

Rtn. Chris Ugechi said Rotary is proud to identify with the King’s distinguished leadership style.

“Your exemplary leadership antecedents even before you became the King are glaring. Rotary honors such traits and that is why our Club choose to honor you with this Excellence in Leadership Award and Honorary Membership of the Club”, he told he King.

Assistant Governor Zone 26, Rtn. Moses Egorerua, who also represented District Governor of Rotary International District 9141, Mightyman Aye-Dikoru, while presenting the awards to the Eze-Ogba of Ogbaland, appealed to the King to consider giving support to growth of Rotary Clubs in Ogbaland.

Responding, the Eze-Ogba of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Barr. Nwachukwu Nnam Obuoha Obi III, while appreciating the gesture by the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Rebisi Kingdom, said Ogba Royal Kingdom always identify with the tenets of the Four-Way Test of Rotary International.

“When you see an Ogba man, you naturally see a Rotarian. The Rotary Four-way Test is core values you find in our Kingdom. We will work to see that your organization grows here and contribute to it. I will see to it that some of my Chiefs join your organization here. In all, we say thank you for all you have done and all you will continue to do for humanity”, the King said.
