No Govt Anywhere In The World Is Completely Free From Criticism — Etsako East Chairman’s Aide Lucky Agbukor Urges Public to Speak Constructively
The Media Aide to the Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council, Comr. Lucky Agbukor Apeakhuye has encouraged members of the public to see criticism as a vital element of governance, emphasizing that constructive feedback plays a crucial role in strengthening leadership and improving public service.
Speaking during an interaction with Ex governor Obaseki’s online media, and emergency ADC media miscreants, Apeakhuye noted that no government anywhere in the world is completely free from criticism, stressing that such reactions from citizens should not be viewed as hostility but rather as an important component of democratic engagement.
According to him, constructive criticism — especially when it is positive, direct, and reflective of the genuine concerns of the people — should always be welcomed by those in positions of authority.
“Criticism is part of governance just as no government is devoid of criticism. Every criticism is a welcome development, particularly when it is constructive, positive, and direct,” he stated.
He explained that when citizens openly express their opinions on issues affecting them, it helps leaders better understand public expectations and address pressing challenges within their communities.

Apeakhuye further described such public expressions as a reflection of burning issues and the collective opinion of the people, which should guide policymakers and administrators in making informed decisions.
He urged residents of Etsako East and the general public to continue engaging responsibly in civic discourse, noting that meaningful dialogue between the government and the people fosters transparency, accountability, and sustainable development.
The media aide also reassured citizens that the current leadership of the Etsako East Local Government Council Chairman, Rt. Hon. Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson remains committed to listening to the voices of the people and working towards policies and initiatives that will improve the wellbeing of residents across the local government area.
He concluded by reiterating that constructive criticism, when offered with the intention of progress, remains one of the most powerful tools for strengthening democracy and promoting good governance.
