Information has revealed that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has fixed Tuesday to hold again an emergency National Executive Council meeting over its proposed indefinite industrial action.
According to report, which was disclosed in a statement on Sunday by NLC General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja, to Presidents, General Secretaries and Treasurers of affiliate unions.
It also revealed that the meeting which will be held on Tuesday will be virtual though, the subject matter of the meeting is yet to be disclosed but it may not be unconnected to NLC’s planned strike following the expiration of a 21- working day ultimatum to the Federal Government.
Recalling that organised labour had earlier embarked on a two-day warning strike to press home its demands.
