Nigeria is set to expand bilateral trade with Morocco to $7–$10 billion, as the Second Nigeria-Morocco Business Week concluded. The event, held across Lagos, Kano, and Abuja, brought together officials and investors to strengthen African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) collaboration, accelerate joint ventures, and convert diplomatic ties into actionable projects.

Nigeria’s livestock reform agenda was highlighted as a structured, export-oriented sector to boost rural wealth and food security. Officials stressed technology transfer, value chain integration, and Morocco’s agro-industrial expertise. Renewable energy, manufacturing, and tourism were also prioritized, with follow-up investment pipelines expected to drive execution and continental economic integration.
