Federal government and the food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO set to establish Digital Agriculture Village Initiative
The Digital Innovation Strategy aims to tackle critical challenges in creating inclusive and sustainable agri-food systems in the country.
Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, has endorsed the initiative, stating that the federal government will enhance agro-productivity through the adoption of DVI across all agricultural value chains.
He emphasized that, on a global scale, artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in precision farming, resource management, and improving crop yields.
