Nicolás Otamendi has officially signed his contract as the new centre-back for Argentine Football Club, River Plate.
The 37-year-old Argentine international put pen to paper today, marking an emotional return to his homeland and one of the country’s biggest clubs.
Otamendi, who enjoyed a successful European career with Manchester City, Valencia, Benfica, and most recently Benfica, brings vast experience and leadership to the River Plate defence.
