NEWS Beep: NIGERIA SETS TO STAGE LONGEST DINNING TABLE FOR ORIKI FESTIVAL 6TH DECEMBER 2025

Nigerian institute for hospitality, tourism operators and regulators is set to launch its flagship gastronomy festival ‘ORIKI’, a celebration of Nigeria’s rich culinary heritage and cultural sustainability, to celebrate the essence of Nigerian royalty through food manners, storytelling and community engagement.

Glory Agbor reports that at an event held in Abuja, top tourism officials, media experts and food enthusiasts gathered to outline the festival’s vision, program highlights and the expected impacts on Nigeria’s tourism and economy. It will feature a guinness world record attempt for the longest dinning table,.

A Nigerian royal banquet experience of more than three thousand diners are expected.

The oriki event is expected to commence on the 6th of december 2025 at the eagles square, fct Abuja with the theme ‘taste of culture, a royal banquet experience.
