The Kingdom of the Netherlands says it will strengthen its bilateral relationship with Nigeria and support the country in food security projects and initiatives.
The Dutch Ambassador to Nigeria, Bengt van Loosdrecht, says his country is currently supporting Nigeria in vegetable production in the value chain in Kano, Kaduna, Oyo, and Ogun states.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, says the partnership between the two countries, which started in 2021, has helped Nigeria reduce post-harvest losses associated with vegetable production.
He says the introduction of modern farming techniques has also increased farmers’ output in participating states.
