Nigeria and Kenya are charting a bold path, joining forces in space technology to tackle challenges from food security to national defense.
During high-level talks in Abuja, the two nations’ space chiefs sealed plans for:

Joint satellite projects.
Rocket development,
Earth observation for farming, security and climate; and

Capacity building and training.
Nigeria’s NASRDA Director General, Dr. Matthew Adepoju, said the country is ready to share 25 years of space expertise. Kenya’s DG, Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey, called the move a “meeting of minds” that will shape Africa’s role in the global space economy.
The message is clear: Africa is not waiting to be invited into the future — it is building it.
