It’s in recognition of this that according to the Vice president Kashim Shettima, the federal government has prioritized huge investments in digital technology infrastructure especially the bridge project of installing 90,000 kilometre fibre optics. The vice president at the digital Nigeria international conference and exhibition, Abuja says this is to improved Internet connectivity even in rural communities. The project is the highest world Bank approved digital project globally so that every corner in Nigeria will feel up the impact of governance and economic growth through the use of digital technology.

The federal government is also training citizens especially youths on how to navigate the digital space by and to use digital tools to create goods, services and solutions in Agriculture, economy and education that will make life easier for the populace.

The discourse as these policy makers, innovators and investors gather is on how efforts will be sustained to secure the nation’s digital future
