Babcock University has issued a disclaimer over a fraudulent notice circulating among students titled “Notice to Post-SIWES Students.”
The fake notice falsely claimed that students were required to pay N250,000 as a SIWES Programme Support Fee between October 5 and 19, 2025.
In an official statement on its Instagram page, the university urged students, parents, and guardians to disregard the notice and avoid making any payments to unauthorized accounts.
The institution reaffirmed that all official communications and financial directives are issued only through verified university channels and advised members of the university community to stay alert against fraudulent activities.
