The attention of the Lagos State University (LASU) has been drawn to a digital poster currently circulating on social media, claiming that arrangements have been made, allegedly in collaboration with the Students’ Affairs Division, to transport Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) to NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide. According to the poster, departure is scheduled from Ojo Campus at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 24th September 2025.
The University wishes to categorically state that the Students’ Affairs Division is not involved in any such arrangement and has not authorised any individual, group, or organisation to liaise with PCMs for transportation to NYSC camps.
Members of the University community and the general public are hereby advised that transportation to NYSC Orientation Camps is a private undertaking, and LASU is not in any way affiliated with or responsible for such logistics.
The Students’ Affairs Division is taking appropriate steps to identify and address this act of impersonation. Meanwhile, all Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised to exercise caution, avoid dealing with unauthorised agents, and prioritise their personal safety as they embark on their journey to serve the nation.
The University wishes all PCMs a safe and successful transition to their respective Orientation Camps.

We are LASU. We are great!
