Presently, EU has decided to put a search light on the top digital brands namely Apple, Google and Meta.
This probe hits the brands on Monday having Apple, Google parent Alphabet and Meta facing the first-ever probes under a mammoth digital law, which could lead to big fines against the US giants.
The European Commission however, “suspects that the measures put in place by these gatekeepers fall short of effective compliance of their obligations under the DMA”, the EU’s antitrust regulator said, referring to the Digital Markets Act.
