The President of the Nigeria Economic Society, NES, Prof. Adeola Adenikinju, has urged President Tinubu to constitute economic management team to handle economic issues in the country.
Professor Adenikinju further urged the President to include the representative of the @NESNigeria in the team as it was during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, where the NES president was a statutory member of the economic team.
“The reason is that when you are looking at the economy and performance of the economy, the economic association is the right body that should provide an advisory role to the government.”
